The 2026 RAV4 has a 10.6-inch center touchscreen as a standard setup. It looks slightly upgraded from the 8.0-inch screen in the previous model. The new model also comes with a 12.9-inch screen, which is slightly larger than the 2025 RAV4 at around 10.5 inches. The touchscreen for the new model has been upgraded, and both systems include Toyota’s latest multimedia system software, including compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The 12.3-inch digital gauge display is now standard for 2026, which was previously available on upper trims. The interiors of both models are spacious and can fit at least 10 carry-on suitcases and may be more with the seat folded down.
Several versions of the RAV4 are made available in 2026, and these also come with subcategories, and each of the trims has its own style and look. The Core model brings XLE, LE, and Limited trims, while the Sport models include XSE and GR Sport, a new model. The Core trim levels feature a body-color grille and black fender flares, while the Sport models come with a two-tone paint and colorful upholstery. The RAV4, regardless of the trims, looks sportier and has upgraded treatments for the front- and rear-end styles. The 2026 model comes with a 105.9-inch wheelbase similar to the 2025 model. The length of the trims is around 180.9 inches, which is also the same as the previous. The Woodland and GR Sport are slightly longer, up to 181.8 inches, because of different bumper designs.
Before 2026, the RAV4 was available as an AWD. Now, the gas-only version isn’t available, and the base powertrain is a hybrid. The front-drive version is now available on the RAV4 Hybrid, and the model gives at least 226 HP. The AWD adds a motor on the rear axle, and the horsepower goes up to 236 – all features up from the 2025 model, making it more powerful. All in all, the 2026 brings a bigger and better horsepower at 320 a little more than the 2025 PHEV. The AWD is now standard on the plug-in powertrain, and the all-electric vehicle increases to 50 miles from the previous 42 miles on the 2025 model. The battery capacity for the current year has increased. The PHEV Woodland and XSE trims now use a DC fast-charger through the CCS charging port.
